Migraine – A CASE REPORT

Management of Cluster Headache Associated with Pituitary Apophysitis by CERT (Chakrasiddh Energy Release Technique): A Case Report on Energy Rebalancing

Cluster headaches are extremely painful headaches that usually affect one side of the head, often around the eye, and can cause symptoms like eye redness, watering, and severe discomfort. In this case, a 42-year-old male radiologist had been suffering from intense cluster headaches for over two years. His MRI showed inflammation near the pituitary gland and some sinus involvement, which could be the cause of his pain. Despite trying many conventional treatments, including hormonal medicines and painkillers, he only got temporary relief, and the headaches kept coming back once the medicines were stopped.

At Chakrasiddh, his condition was understood as an imbalance in the flow of energy in the head and neck region. He was given a specialized Siddha-based protocol called Chakrasiddh Energy Release Therapy (CERT). This therapy used gentle pressure point techniques on the head, neck, and gut areas to release blocked energy and restore balance. He underwent five sessions of 45 minutes each, twice a week.

After the therapy, he experienced a remarkable improvement — the frequency and severity of his headaches reduced, his sleep improved, he could spend more time on screens without discomfort, felt emotionally more stable, and his dependence on medicines went down. This case shows that Siddha energy therapy can be a safe and effective holistic approach for managing cluster headaches, especially in conditions linked to inflammation around the brain structures like the pituitary gland.
