Holistic Management of Chronic Low Back Pain and ACL Tear Using Chakrasiddh Spine Expert Therapy (CSET): A Case Report
An ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) tear is a common knee injury where one of the main ligaments that helps stabilize the knee joint gets partially or completely torn. It can happen due to fall or trauma at any stage of life. This often causes pain, swelling, stiffness, difficulty walking, stiffness in calf muscles and limited knee movement.
In this case, a 42-year-old man with chronic back pain and a partial ACL tear in his right knee had been struggling for three years despite trying different treatments. He then underwent Chakrasiddh Spine Expert Therapy (CSET), which included Siddha-based manual therapies (Varmam and Thokkanam), energy healing sessions, gentle exercises, and diet changes.
Before therapy, he experienced constant pain, restricted movement, weakness, and disturbed sleep. He was unable to walk and stand for long, morning stiffness was felt in his calf muscles, was avoiding taking stairs as his orthopedic advised him not to walk for long. He was a sports guy and was use to play tennis but due to pain was avoiding from last 1 year. After 30 days of CSET, his pain reduced significantly, his knee mobility and strength improved, and he was able to walk more comfortably. He also reported better sleep and an overall improvement in his quality of life. This shows that Siddha therapy can be a safe and effective alternative approach for ACL injuries without needing surgery.
