Efficacy of Chakrasiddh Osteoarthritis Therapy (COAT) in the Management of Azhal Keel Vaayu (Osteoarthritis): A Case Report (not present in the website- to be added)
Osteoarthritis is a common condition in which the joints gradually become painful and stiff, making everyday activities such as walking, climbing stairs, or standing for long periods difficult.
A 54-year-old woman with a 10-year history of pain and swelling in both knees underwent a 23-day Chakrasiddh Osteoarthritis Therapy (COAT) programme at Chakrasiddh Holistic Healing and Research Centre, Hyderabad. The programme included energy point stimulation, gentle joint mobilisation, and personalised dietary guidance. After the programme, her reported pain reduced from 8/10 to 2/10, swelling decreased by about 70%, and knee movement improved by approximately 70%. Her overall knee-related symptoms and physical function also improved, and she was able to walk, climb stairs, and stand for longer periods with less discomfort. This individual case suggests that COAT may have a supportive role in reducing symptoms and improving mobility and daily functioning in people with knee osteoarthritis. Larger clinical studies are needed to confirm these findings.
